12/11/2023 0 Comments Ps3 pinball arcade problem![]() ![]() You know how VP has jaggies due to no table antialias? Give VP 4xAA! How cool would that be? That is what retina kind of does, it eliminates jaggies by using such a high resolution on that small of a screen.Įdited by rob046, 20 July 2012 - 06:56 PM. Game does look & play great on iPad2 as well, but if you can spare a bit more for 3, it is well worth it. & this is unrelated to the input lag too. Like I played a game of MM last night on both iPad & PS3, & iPad had better feeling flippers for sure. So, in some ways, iPad3 TPA is even better than PS3 TPA. On iPad3, I can read the lamp insert text, even the ones at the back of the table! All this without zooming, just the default views. Probably the best thing to ever happen to pinball games is the retina display.Įven playing TPA at 1080p on a 47" HDTV, often times the text on tables is just so hard to read. It is like 60fps vs 25fps, or in VP, say playing a game at 200fps vs 1000fps. I got a few tables that I own and when I try to load em they say their a update then I go to the update then from PS Store it tells me their no download available. I had gotten so used to android ball flow that I couldn't believe what I was seeing. Anybody having issues with the Pinball Arcade on the PS3. When I first saw how smooth ball movement was on iPad, my jaw dropped. Android can be fine, but the ball movement is a little rough for pinball, on both my android phone & tablet. Normally I don't care much either way between apple/android, but one thing I found out the hard way is that iPad does do pinball games by far the best & smoothest. but of course it will also serve for a lot of other stupid things I'm thinking bying a tablet (the ASUS TF300T ?) "only" for that pinball soft, when i'm out of home (the VP pincab remain the best). once the MB/Gorgar DLC hits, I think people will be very impressed. Still a little room for improvement but at least they are making progress. &, I know from playing the latest DLC on my iPad that the 2 newest tables, Gorgar/Monster Bash, are improved as well with physics. Funhouse fixes some of the above things with better flipper physics on all platforms it is on (though the table is a bit too slow IMHO). HOWEVER, for GRONI & others, there is some great news on the horizon. In fact, as far as this goes, the 360 version actually plays MUCH better. Some shots don't feel quite right either but overall, as far as aiming shots the game does pretty well, & with the feel of the shots.Īlso, yes, the controller lag drives me nuts. Also, flippers can be a bit too bouncy without any give. This one thing I really like about Zen physics. For example, I can't do a drop catch to save my life. But these physics are good, definitely room for improvement though. Still nothing beats the Pro Pinball series IMHO. Plus TPA obviously plays 10x better than FP. Especially with lighting, TPA blows the doors off of what FP can do. Definitely the prettiest pinballs I've even seen on a sim. Other than what JonBaker says, I think everybody is pretty spot on about this. ![]()
